Two way waterproof communication package with our Bb 3.0 Standard Units for your Team Wendy helmets using the Exfil adapter.
This package comes with two waterproof helmet headsets to install onto your own Team Wendy helmets. This package does not include the helmets or the Exfil adapter.
This Bbtalkin waterproof headset fits all Team Wendy helmets that use the EXFIL quick release adapter kit. Our headset will attach to the EXFIL® Quick Release Adapter Kit (Part No: 80-CAK-MIC). Helmet and adapter sold separately by Team Wendy.
Our system is waterproof at IPX rating 7, long range and hands-free. You will have superior voice clarity during communication. Our microphones have wind and noise reduction. This waterproof boom microphone is on the left side only, keeping your right ear open.
This system will enhance your communication during rescue operations and has been proven to be extremely beneficial in situations where you need both hands free. There is no need to free a hand to key a tactical radio microphone with this system. Our system does not take place of your VHF radio, it is a supplemental communications to enhance your rescue operations.

CHARGING:
When you first receive your units, they are not fully charged. Please take them out of the box and charge them prior to use. You cannot use your devices for communication while they are charging.

AC Adapter less than 5V + 5% min. *Do not use higher than 5V or this will damage the IC unit and void warranty.
Please make sure the device is completely dry before charging.

- Use fresh water to wash all of the headset.
- Make sure to rinse the microphone and speaker piece.
- DO NOT use high pressure spray.
- It is best to submerge in a bucket of fresh water for a through wash.
- Hang to dry in a well ventilated climate controlled (a/c) environment.
- Over time, the male 3.5 jack on the headset may become corroded. (dull in color) Make sure to keep this clean by a cloth or scotch bright. Do not use any cleaning solution. It is best to keep the headset plugged into your unit if possible to help avoid corrosion build up.
If using in salt water, you must fresh water rinse. Failure to do so can cause corrosion and product failure.
Attach the Team Wendy Exfil Adapter to the Bbtalkin headset
On the left side of the Team Wendy helmet, remove the plastic block from the side rail by unscrewing the two allen screws.
Take the rubbing alcohol pad and clean the area where you want to mount the rubber-band mount. You have two options where you can mount your unit:
OPTION 1: Left side of helmet, at least ½ inch above the side-rail, from the bottom of the mount
OPTION 2: Middle of back of helmet.
Using the double sided 3M adhesive, install the plastic mount onto your helmet.
Take your Bbtalkin unit within the waterproof case and place it into the plastic mount. Stretch each rubberband around the waterproof case and secure the band to the bottom of the mount.
Install the Exfil Adapter into the Team Wendy side rail until it clicks.
Plug in the 3.5mm audio cable. Make sure the cable is tight and secure.
If using in salt water, fresh water rinse after each use. Store in climate controlled environment.
